Construction begins on Purepower’s first ACT Power Station in Huntingdon
Purepower commenced construction of the first of its portfolio of Projects on 6th October 2008. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the Purepower Commissioning Team and the Site Manager for Alpha Construction, Jason Stafford.
Purepower are completing the main plant, with HV Electrical works being executed by Power Systems. Plant manufacture is virtually complete and will be shipped to Site by mid December. Erection and commissioning will follow, with the plant generating power to the grid before the end of the first quarter of 2010.
